چکیده
Abstract Most people who use the word ‘Latin’ as name of a language in antiquity (not Medieval or Neo-Latin therefore) seem unaware that Latin was continuum made up many different varieties, Classical (which they identify with Latin) being only one them. So when talk spoken mean Latin, no other variety from available is suitable to be spoken. This ironic on two counts. First, overwhelming majority native speakers did not speak at all. Secondly, small minority it do so routinely everyday conversation, but certain formal occasions and public situations. They spoke appropriate form their first language, used by social, cultural educational elite. which an acquired learned if were second language. What like we know, doubt comprised several registers, languages do. Whether realise not, engage informal conversations today are re-enacting any authentic experience had ancient world.

On Three Potential Sources of Comprehensible Input On Three Potential Sources of Comprehensible Input for Second Language Acquisition
Three potential sources of comprehensible input for second language acquisition are examined: Modified Input, Interactionally Modified Input and Modified Output. To this end, an attempt is made to closely investigate how each type of linguistic environment facilitates learner comprehension, and subsequently, acquisition. Different theoretical claims as well as a number of empirical studies are ...

This study aimed at investigating the relative impact of comprehensible input and comprehensible output on the development of grammatical accuracy and syntactic complexity of Iranian EFL learners’ oral production. Participants were 60 female EFL learners selected from a whole population pool of 80 based on the standard test of IELTS. To investigate the research questions, the participants were ...
متن کاملCOMPREHENSIBLE INPUT AND SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION What Is the Relationship ?
This study attempts to test aspects of the input hypothesis (Krashen, 1980, 1983, 1985) and Long's modification of it (Long, 1980, 1983a, 1985). Specifically, it experimentally tests the hypothesis that both input and interactional modifications facilitate second language acquisition, using Japanese as the target language. Three experimental groups were differentiated in terms of input and inte...
متن کاملOptical Spectroscopic Observations of CI Camelopardalis
We present the results of optical spectroscopic observations of CI Cam. Double-peaked profiles were simultaneously observed for the first time in the hydrogen Balmer, He I λ6678 and Fe II lines during an observational run in 2001 September. An intermediate viewing angle of the circumstellar disk around the B[e] star is consistent with our data. A significant decrease in the intensity of the Hα ...
متن کاملThe relation between comprehending and remembering some complex sentences.
This research concerns the distinction between processes in sentence comprehension and those in sentence memory. Comprehension was monitored by timing subjects while they decided whether a sentence was true or false of their knowledge of the world. The memory process was tapped by examining subjects' incidental memory for the sentences they had previously verified. The verification latencies in...
